how to shut down LS?

i am planning to do mysql check, then need to shut down LS for 15mins.
i cannot find the setting interface, anybody could let me know how to shut LS down?

There is no "Under Maintenance" setting for LS.

Possible workarounds would be to use an htaccess file to redirect users or password protect the directory.

That's a matter of opinion in this case where you can simply expire all surveys to put them on hold without loosing any data.

However, feel free to add a feature request or, better, code this yourself and submit the patch.

I'd say it would be a "good to have".

But even Wordpress, a software used a lot more and with a lot more resources doesn't offer this as a basic function, but requires a plugin for this.

I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member. I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time. No support via private message.
