Dear Limesurveyors,

I want to use a likert scale with anchors at the two ends. Something like the one below

Not a very happy person 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 A very happy person

I have not been able to find a scale like this in the list of scale. Any help to create one will be greatly appreciated.

What you are looking for is not really a likert scale ( en.wikipedia.org/Likert_scale ), but a semantic diferential ( en.wikipedia.org/Semantic_differential ).

Have a look at the second screenshot here, this should be what you are looking for:

I too am looking to do this - though I'm unable to get the | trick to work.

What I'd ideally like is to have comments at each end, much like the OP and that would be different for each question, much like the attached screenshot:
