i have q1,q2,q3,q4,q5 in a survey.
q1,q3 belong to group A
q2,q5 belong to group B
q4 belong to group C
user will finish this survey with order:q1-q2-q3-q4-q5.
how to set thie display order?
it seemed limesurvey can only set questions order in same group.

Hi,

LS displays questions by group. But if you want this kind of order, I think you might change the question_order directly in the database. (lime_questions)
Never tried this, but you can do it.
Let me know if it works,

Regards,

Shaq

Yes,

Why doing otherwise ?

You can allways :
- add your group number before question code if really needed. (G1Q1,G2Q2,G1Q3,G2Q4).
- Change order of column in your spreadsheet

Please do NOT try this because this might totally screw up your survey.

@nicegirl: Your survey design doesn't make much sense. If you need that certain order, add questions at Limesurvey in a related sequence.

Hello Mazi : no, it's work , i ever have some database with 'bad ordered' survey table: because LS don't care of order in DB (excpet in export i think).
