I am trying to find the Language file (Survey Language, clang), although I am not entirely sure of the exact name.

Thanks

For this purpose, I am using Limesurvey to request personal information from potential customers for specific insurance products. I need to change any "hard coded" terminology referencing the word "survey". Which I am thinking is located in a language file.

You may follow the same process than for translations, because a big part of sentences/messages can be edited this way.
  • Go to this page and downnload en.po (or any other language needed)
  • Place the file in: locale/en/LC_MESSSAGES/
  • Open the file with "poedit" (open source) software
  • "Translate" (=edit) all that you think useful for your usage and save
Remember that you won't update your instalation in the future because all your changes may be overwritten

You can download too the last po file at translate.limesurvey.org/projects/limesurvey2/fr/default (replace fr by your langage) at end of the page (Export ... )

[EDIT] Looking at number of sentence : translation status seems OK (maybe one day less).
