How to get rid of help.gif from survey

:( Is there an easier way to get rid of the help icons from the questions?

Just now I even resorted to making a blank help.gif, but it magically changes itself back to the original.
I have read putting:
span.questionhelp{display:none;}
at the end of the template.css file will do it.
It doesn't work for me as the css for that element includes the question number;

Any advice greatfully received.

What version of Lime are you running. In 2.0, the help.gif seems to be template independent, found in www.yourdomain.com/survey/images/help.gif .

Is there a template-level solution to customize the help.gif?

Just place a blank help.gif in your template and it will be used.

Thank you Carsten. In fact, you can put any .gif directly in your survey's template to customize the help image.
