Hi there,
in the header of my survey, I want to have my survey logo appear on top of my survey title and descriptions as it already does. But what I would like to do is to have my survey logo in a white background and the survey title and description in a blue (#1F255E or #2F5376).

How will I be able to do this successfully?

the welcome.pstpl is :
<table class="welcome-table">
{CHECKJAVASCRIPT}
<div id="welcome">
<img src="{TEMPLATEURL}hhrs-nov-27-12.jpg" align="center" width="300" height="150"/><br>

<strong><span class="survey-name">{SURVEYNAME}</span><br>
<p class="survey-description">{SURVEYDESCRIPTION}</p>

</div><br>

<td class="survey-welcome">
{WELCOME}<br /><br />

{CLEARALL}
</td>
</tr>
</table>

I have a test survey currently activated which can be accessed through survey.med.utoronto.ca/index.php?sid=95777&lang=en

Thanks.
Nkem.

Hi

Try to open your "templates/HHRS2/template.css"

and around line 139
#welcome {
    background-color: #2F5376;
    border-top: 5px solid #E9E9E9;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    padding: 10px 0;
    text-align: center;
try dif values for your background-color and color

BTW> did you use Firebug extension? It´s a good one for in browsing editing/testing :)

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but I already tried that. What I am trying to accomplish is having the logo with a different background colour (white) and the title in a different background colour (blue). I was able to separate them, but I do not know where to go to from there to make the tittle text appear in blue background.

Hi

Why don´t you try to put your logo before the <table class="welcome-table"> (just an insight without testing, ok?)

something like:

<img src="{TEMPLATEURL}hhrs-nov-27-12.jpg" align="center" width="300" height="150"/><br />
<table class="welcome-table">

Hi,
I figured it out.I did this:
<table class="welcome-table">
{CHECKJAVASCRIPT}
<div id="welcome" style="background-color:#FFFFFF">
<img src="{TEMPLATEURL}hhrs-nov-27-12.jpg" align="center" width="300" height="150"/><br>
</div>
<div id="welcome">
<strong><span class="survey-name">{SURVEYNAME}</span><br>
<p class="survey-description">{SURVEYDESCRIPTION}</p>
</div><br>

I am new to the world of css and html, so everything is trial and error. Thank you for your suggestions though.

Generally it is better to move all styles to the template.css file instead of hardcoding this at the template files.

If you are looking for easy to adjust templates have a look at www.limesurvey-templates.com
These template also offer easy logo integration (left/right/centered) and the related backgrounds can also be colored with just one line of CSS.
