Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me out with an issue I am having with my online survey. I am not sure why bullet points are appearing beside my list answers. This is what I have: <div align="left">
<table>
<tr>
<td>
{ANSWER}
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div><br>
<div class="survey-question-help">
{QUESTIONHELP}
</div>
</div>
</div>

It ends up looking like the attached document. I have copied my survey screen.

I find when I start off like this <div align="left" class=”answer”>, there are no bullet points, but it is center justified which is not what I want.

The document is not attached.

Which template do you use for your survey? The class styles can be found in the css file.

If would try different templates to see if the problem occurs everywhere or only in certain templates.
If you found a template you can copy it and start modifying the styles to get what you want.

Can you activate a sample survey so we can see the source code and styles?

I am using a modified version of the bluengrey template. I needed to add logos to my survey, and make the response options left justified. this is a sample survey with the issues in regards to the response options of the questions.

This is my first time working with limesurvey and css syntax. I am just getting acquainted with all of it, and it is a very difficult process.

Change this:
<div align="left">

To this:
<div class="answers">

And then add this to the end of template.css:
div.answers table {
	margin: 0;
	width: 100%;
}

Hi,
I just tried that and it didnt work. It just shifted the position of the bullet points.
This is the original question.pstpl:
<div {QUESTION_ESSENTIALS} class="{QUESTION_CLASS}{QUESTION_MAN_CLASS}{QUESTION_INPUT_ERROR_CLASS}">
<div class="question">
<div class="questiontext">
<span class="qnumcode">{QUESTION_NUMBER} {QUESTION_CODE} </span>
<span class="questionhelp">{QUESTION_HELP}</span>
<span class="asterisk">{QUESTION_MANDATORY}</span>{QUESTION_TEXT}<br />
{QUESTION_MAN_MESSAGE}
{QUESTION_VALID_MESSAGE}
{QUESTION_FILE_VALID_MESSAGE}
</div>
<div class="answers">
<table>
<tr>
<td>
{ANSWER}
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
<div class="survey-question-help">
{QUESTIONHELP}
</div>
</div>
</div>

How can I make this so the answer are left justified instead of centered?

I do not see that you have done as I suggested in the Demo survey.

I still see:
<div align="left">

I changed it back because it did not work. But I have changed it to div class="answer" for you to see what I am talking about.

I have one final question.
How do I reduce the bottom padding for the text display boxes? I have been reading through the template.css, but I dont understand it. I was able to reduce the bottom padding for the welcome page, but that was total chance.
Thanks!

Add the following to the end of template.css:
.boilerplate .questiontext{
	margin-bottom: -25px;
}

.boilerplate .answers {
	display: none;
}

Hi there,
in the header of my survey, I want to have my survey logo appear on top of my survey title and descriptions as it already does. But what I would like to do is to have my survey logo in a white background and the survey title and description in a blue (#1F255E or #2F5376).

How will I be able to do this successfully?

the welcome.pstpl is :
<table class="welcome-table">
{CHECKJAVASCRIPT}
<div id="welcome">
<img src="{TEMPLATEURL}hhrs-nov-27-12.jpg" align="center" width="300" height="150"/><br>

<strong><span class="survey-name">{SURVEYNAME}</span><br>
<p class="survey-description">{SURVEYDESCRIPTION}</p>

</div><br>

<td class="survey-welcome">
{WELCOME}<br /><br />

{CLEARALL}
</td>
</tr>
</table>

I have a test survey currently activated which can be accessed through survey.med.utoronto.ca/index.php?sid=95777&lang=en

Thanks.
Nkem.
