Editing Expired Survey message

Hi all,

I have a rather urgent request. I need to amend the message that shows when the Survey has expired.

It currently says: "This survey is no longer available, please contact <admin email address>"

I'd like to customize the message but I can't seem to find where I can do that.

Can anyone please help?

Doug

Hi Doug,

if you don't want to restart and stop the survey again (which may cause a lot of troubles) a makeshift solution ist to edit the text directly in the limeSurvey database (eg via phpMyAdmin)

This message is in translation text. Only in LS core PHP system.

2 solution :
- use alternative translation.
- hack the php code.

Thanks Orvil and Denis.
Orvil, I've been through all the tables via phpmyadmin but can't find the appropriate section. Any further clues.

Denis, can you give me some more tips on hacking the php code?

Think the sentence is in application/controllers/survey/index.php
