TOPIC: Loop within a loop?

Loop within a loop? 3 years 8 months ago #87300

Hi guys,

Wondering if anybody could suggest a good implementation for the below. I know regular show/hide logic would work just fine for 7a/7b, but 7c is where it gets tricky... asking for each combination selected from 7a/7b. Any suggestions appreciated!

Q7
LOOP WITHIN LOOP OR DO AS YOU SEE FIT(from a recent real-world problem)….

Q7a: Multi:
What type of Credit Cards do you carry?
Diners
Visa
MasterCard

Q7b: Multi
Ask for each answered in Q7a
Which bank or banks issues your [Q7a:: Diners, Visa, MasterCard]?
CIBC
Royal
Coast Capital
Bank of Montreal (BMO)
TD / CT
Gotham City Bank

Q7c: Multi
For each Q7a /Q7b combo
What is the exact type of your [ Bank (Q7b) ] [ Card (Q7a) ]:
Rewards Card
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Aeroplan
Senior Special (Show only or Royal)
Senior Rewards (Show only for CIBC + (Visa or MasterCard))
AmazingGoGoCard (Show only for BMO, Coast Capital, or Royal) + (Visa or Mastecard)
Other (Please Specify) ______________
None of the Above

Q7info:
SHOW (without asking) How many total specific cards this person has: #
SHOW the names of the cards, arranged by BANK (7b), Then TYPE (7a), Then Specific

There is no "looping" in LimeSurvey. All questions must be created before survey activation and then shown/hidden with conditions or relevance.

Thanks. That's how I ended up implementing it.
