TOPIC: HTML code is displaying in assessments

HTML code is displaying in assessments 4 years 3 weeks ago #86261

I am using assessments in my quiz. When I go to type the message the user will see and format it using the format buttons above the text entry point, when I hit save, it puts the html code in the display and also drops the formatting. If try to put the code in when I've toggled Source on, same thing happens. It looks good in the text input box, until I hit save. And when I test it, I also see non-formatted with ugly html code around it.

2ndly, I would like to be able to format the title. If I can't do that, I'm okay with having the title in the body and separating it by a few lines, but would prefer to format the title. Anyway to do that?

Here is a sample of what displays on screen, all chosen by the format buttons provided:

Lowest Score Range
<p style="text-align: center; "> <strong><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Wow, you ARE lucky!</span></span></strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Congratulations on your relationships. Most people have one or more close relationships that really cause them pain, and yours are doing pretty good. You are doing something right! But I dont' think you need to take the TANGO course. You may find group or one-on-coaching in other areas of your life beneficial though.</span></span></p>

Still happening. I deleted all of my assessments, toggled assessments to off, then tried to start over. Same thing, as soon as I hit save it loads the html code into the displayed text. I looked in my css and my completed page of my template, I can't see anything that would make it do that. But I'm not a programmer. Can anybody think of a type of code that would make that happen? I noticed that it said {ASSESSMENTS} in the page but there was nothing called assessments in the css, so I created that, and still nothing. I am using the clear_logo template.

PPS. I tried the basic template and it did the same thing. Here is the code from the assessment.pstpl. The only thing I did to it was add some <br>s because it was too smushed together, but I didn't do that at all to the basic template, I used the original version, and it still had the same problem. And first I'll put in what's in CSS for assessment-container. As I mentioned above there is not a block for ASSESSMENTS as referenced in the pstpl code below:

.assessments-container {

<td rowspan="2">
<table width="80%" align="center">
<table align="center" width="100%" >
<td width="100%" valign="bottom" align="center">
<img src="{TEMPLATEURL}banner.png" alt="Logo" />
</tr> <br />
<table class="assessment-table">
<td class="assessment-heading">
<td class="assessments-container"><br><br><br><br>

PPPS. I have the very newest LS Version 2.00+ Build 121001. Also I looked in Bugtracker and couldn't find it and searched the forum, but as you know LS seems to be designed and written for programmers, which I am not, so I can't say for sure it's not there. I searched generally on assessment.

PPPPS. Since I learned LS for the sole purpose of being able to have an assessment (none of the other plug ins I could find would let me put my whole survey on one page and give weighted assessments), if it is going to take some time to fix this, please let me know. I need this for a website now and will go with a less desirable survey plugin if I have to wait more than a day or two. I just don't interact in this world much so have no idea what protocol and expectations should be.
