Importing token table

When I import the following token csv file, it imports the name and e-mail fields just fine, but does not import the two attribute fields. What am I missing?
lastname,firstname,email,attribute_1,attribute_2
xxxxxx, xxxxx, xxxxx@ou.edu,IRB,Reviewer
xxxxx, xxxx, xxx.xxxx@ou.edu,IRB,Reviewer
xxx, xxx, xxxxx@ou.edu,OU,Reviewer

Thanks,
Betty

It does work when I manually create attribute_1 and attribute_2 before I import the tokens. I guess that's my answer.

Yes, I have found (the hard way) that you need to create the attributes before you can import.

Can you please update the wiki with a tip?

Sure. :)
Do I add it as a comment to the main tokens page?
docs.limesurvey.org/Tokens

There's another I also had to figure out in the sliders section tha tI could add. It's not clear that the separator is just an arbitrary character that is used in the subquestion to separate the labels for the semantic differential scale.

Don't add them as comments. You can edit the pages directly if you're logged in (same credentials as here).

Thanks.

Cool. I added a blurb on csv import attributes and edited the description for the slider_separator. It's neat that we can do that. :)

Thanks! The project can need all the help it can get. Helping to add to the documentation is one very good option. Often a good developer is not the best documentation writer.

I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member. I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time. No support via private message.

Glad to help. :)
So far, the docs have been pretty good in helping to figure out what's what when I have a question. I'll keep an eye out for things I can help clarify or expand. We are so loving Limesurvey!!

I should also add the how to add an opt out link info now that I know how.

Thanks Betty, you can add that to the workarounds section - docs.limesurvey.org/Workarounds&structur...tions+for+LimeSurvey
