I copied my file to : /var/www/limesurvey/upload/templates/my-template/views/survey/frontpage/enterToken.php

But the changes don't seem to work.

Is there a different file to be edited?

config files of LimeSurvey installation and templates should allow this feature:

manual.limesurvey.org/The_template_edito...ws_.28version_2.5.29

LouisGac wrote: Now, you can use the view override to design those pages:

see this thread for token entry:

If there is any view you can't override, just ask me here, I'll add the necessary.

I know, you said any view, but i need to overwrite a controller now. I am setting a surveys as expired from a different software and need to tell the user why. So I have to override the output of controller/survey/index.php (Line 278).

For the moment I have just overwritten it there, but thats not really handy in case of an update.

Would it be possible to pack the calls for the error message in overwriteable functions?
Then I could load this one error from my API and still leave the file as it is.

Thanks!
Regards Markus

Hi,

You can replace a controller : manual.limesurvey.org/BeforeControllerAction

About error page : see github.com/SondagesPro/adaptEnterErrorSurveyText using beforeSurveyPage
