Hello!

Is it possible for an email to be sent to the respondant, the person who fills in the survey, as well as to the administrator?

Thanks as ever,

Rob

There is a confirmation mail included in the software for invitations-based surveys (tokens).
For a public survey it's another affair because you need to create a separate PHP file to send the emails !

In public surveys you can ask the respondent for an email address and send notification to them. See Notification & data management - docs.limesurvey.org/Creating+a+new+surve..._amp_data_management

hmmm . . . haven't a clue what a token survey is, I'll have to get studying! Can I change a public survey to a token survey?

Thanks Tony
I didn't know that it was possible to put {INSERTANS} code into the 'Email Responses To' field; Like this the respondant can receive the full report of the answers he sent ;)

Do you mean a 'manual' operation? Client submits survey, I grab his email address and ping their completed survey back to them?

I put {INSERTANS} into the Email Responses field and I get this error:

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in C:\wamp\www\intranet\limesurvey\classes\dTexts\dFunctions\dFunctionInsertAns.php on line 12

Any suggestions welcome?

Thanks Guys!

No nothing manual.
It's a possibility for the respondant to get a detailed email notification with its answers (as you can receive as administrador)...

It's not a custom email to say everything you want...but the email addresses will be stored into your db and you can use it later as you want...
======
I put {INSERTANS} into the Email Response
You need to add the SGQA code (it's the answer value for this question)
something like: {INSERTANS:1234X56X78}
(but first you have to create your short text question to get the Email)

SGQA= SurveyGroupQuestionAnswer
In the case of my image:
{INSERTANS:99138X7X155}

I am trying to add the SGQA identifier under notifications, however in my example I have Sub Questions, which create a unique SQcode. How are sub-questions handled? I am trying to send an email notification of results to a user that has entered their email address in this sub-question field.

At the moment, my SGQA code looks like this: can anyone assist please?

{INSERTANS:74443X409X5059X003}

Hello,

In general to find the SGQA, i use HTML editor in another question, then i copy/paste the SGQA :).

More quickly.

Here, you have to add the code after the SGQA i think.

You can set Limesurvey to show all codes at the printable survey screen, see this setting:
"$showsgqacode: (>1.91) This setting is used at the printable survey feature Image and defaults to false. If you set $showsgqacode = true; the IDs for each question - and answer if applicable - will be shown; these IDs match the column heading at the Lime_survey_12345 table which holds the answer data for a certain survey. These Ids can be used for a code book for manual database queries."
