Hi everybody,

Can i modify the size and the layout ( rows and column) of Other field or personalize the "othercbox class"?

Can i set the option maxlength (maxlength="XX") of Other field and visualize it?

Thanks, in advance.

PS: i post an image of my problem!

Cheers.

You should be able to change these styles by editing the template.css file of the template you are using.

I also have a need to do exactly this and cannot work out what exactly to modify in my template.css file.

Could someone post a more detailed example of how this can be done with a template so I could adapt it to the template I am using.

Many thanks

EDIT: I worked it out!! :)

The exact text I added to my css file was

.multiple-opt .text
{
width:80%;

}

Thanks to the previous poster who pointed me in the right direction.

It'd be worth checking it displays correctly in the major browsers. Input fields lack cross browser display standardisation, so it might be OK in one but will be longer or shorter in another.

thanks for the heads up on this. My survey is an internal one and will only ever be used with a single browser so this is not an issue for me, but definitely worth keeping in mind for publicly developed surveys.

I have done a few surveys going out to our clients so I should do some cross browser testing.
