As I thought, this must be an old template so you are missing the code to insert question IDs and classes. Replace the contents of your question.pstpl with the following:
<div {QUESTION_ESSENTIALS} class="{QUESTION_CLASS}{QUESTION_MAN_CLASS}{QUESTION_INPUT_ERROR_CLASS}">
    <div class="questionframe">
        <div class="questiontext">
            {QUESTION}
        </div>
        <div class="answer">
            {ANSWER}
        </div>
        <div class="questionhelp">
            {QUESTIONHELP}
        </div>
    </div>
</div>

Yup, it looks good but now you have some comments appearing. These need to be enclosed in HTML comment tags:

<!-- AGGIUNTO DA ARNI 23-11-2010 - sostituisce il vecchio codice -->

Not CSS comment tags:

/* AGGIUNTO DA ARNI 23-11-2010 - sostituisce il vecchio codice */

Mazi, we have run across this problem with old question.pstpl files several times now so I added a note to the wiki - docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=...tyles#Standard_Pages

Thanks a lot, Tony.

This always happens when having updates Limesurvey and using an older, customized template.
Other problem might be:
- having bullets at list options
- invalid progress bar
- conditions not working (due to the problem you mentioned)

I am using the latest version of Limesurvey: Version 1.90+ Build 9642

The alignment of the multiple numerical output works in Firefox, but when I view it in IE7, the alignment is all messed up.

I am using a standard template, as is on that came with the Limesurvey 1.90+.

Can you please assist?

That's because IE7 does not respect "display:table-cell" (among other things). You can fix the width but it may lead to display problems with floating width templates. Try adding the following to the end of ie_fix_7.css (this is untested):
.numeric-multi ul li label {
  float: left;
  width: 150px;
}

THANKS! This seems to solve the numerical input but pushes the "subquestion inputs" too far left. I did manage to solve this by adding some padding to the left though.

I also tried out the slider option and this fix didn't solve the alignment for the slider.

I managed to solve the slider option (the alignment was also all messed up in ie7) by editing the following in the i_fix_7.css file:

.numeric-multi label.slider-label {
margin-top: 1.3em;
display: inline;
min-width: 70px;
padding-left:20px;

}

;) Maybe IE7 will disappear faster than IE6!
