Export Data to Excel

Hello

I can't seem to export the data properly anymore.

Although I'm still able to export the data, but it has become an unrecognised format for Excel.

I have tried both mac and windows, new and old versions of excel, but none of them work. Though everything was fine last week.

Microsoft Word, CSV still working fine, just excel.

Anyone has the same problem as me?

I've had the problem also with Microsoft Word. The document is created, but it contains some PHP error codes instead of DOC-data.

Hello,

What version of LS did you use ?
Have you a debug=0 on your config.php ?

Can you copy/paste the php error code ?

@chingInc, there must ahve been some changes to your system, it can't have changed magically. Did you perform an update?

@freakingid: This problem should be solved meanwhile. limesurvey.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/li...vision&revision=9050

I believe I ran into this same error, yet I'm still trying to trace my steps to see what I may have done.
LS 1.90+
The dialog box when you try to open the export says the file format is unrecognizable, but then as a bullet point says click "OK" if you would like to see the text in the file. On Doing that, here is that line I see in excel.

:SELECT * FROM lime_answers WHERE qid=39 AND language='en' AND code = ?

The changes to the configuration I've been making have been 1) along the lines of template editing to remove the placeholders in the welcome screen, and 2) Using Jason's suggestion to remove the "No answer" selection using the $shownoanswer = 0; line. (It didn't work, so I have since removed the line)

Will let you know when I figure something out.
