Ranking question type - Exclusive option was created by CoeusProject
Dear All,
I have a problem with a ranking question. I want to include a ranking question in my survey with a minimum response of 1 and a maximum of 3. One of the options will be "none of the above" and I want to exclude all others if this option is selected, similar to the "exclusive option".
I have seen that the same question has been asked some years ago in this forum, but I haven´t found any answer to it. ( www.limesurvey.org/forum/installation-a-...ype-exclusive-option )
Does anybody have an idea how to do this? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi,
I am sure you know that thids is not the very best approach.
A ranking question is a ranking question.
You can really use this type of question and validate accordingly:
"exclusive option only on first place" and "second place is empty"
In my opinion it can be better to have three multipunch questions using
maximum answers = 1
array filter exclusion = the question before
and relevance if option "none of the above" or "no more" was selected.
