Public statistics graphs showing only bars was created by Flavio93Zena
Hello, first things first, congratulations for your beautiful software.
I've looked around quite a lot, including the manual and even the bug tracker but at this point I started to think I'm stupid or I'm severely missing something.
Following the handy manual I was able to get the survey result to show up to the public, the thing is they simply don't care about the styling I specify in each question (show graphs IS on, that's why they do have graphs), and they just display the answers plus bar charts (that *really* don't work for what I have to do, since I have a question with 51 possible answers :silly: ).
Using last version (downloaded yesterday), for future reference: Version 2.71.1+170927
Could anyone explain me what's up please? Can I use other types of graphs for public stats? If I've been unclear, you are free to yell at me and ask away Thanks in advance.
P.S.: Could you increase the line-height for this text by at least 2px and make it 20 instead of 18? It's annoying to read as it is, overlapping in certain cases (p and t on next line), just highlight it to see it in an even worse form.

Hello,
what type of question is it?
Seems to be multiple, or?
For multiple you can not expect a pie chart. This is obvious, isn't it.
So, what question type and which chart do you try to get?
Regards
Joffm

Hello, it's an introduction question that branches into 1 out of 4 others depending on 1st answer and they're all selectable answers from a radio list (one answer allowed, although I think it's irrelevant, could be voting multiple entries and still have graphs).
Really, any chart other than bar chart isn't working, I think I tried all of them by now. The thing is they do work perfectly in administration, but not for public stats.

Hi,
I made some tests on your's attached survey and on my test survey as well, and it seems in "public statistics" only two types of charts works - bar and pie. When I chose other types (eg. radar, line, doughnut) I always received bar chart. I'm not sure, but it seems to me as a bug.

Yes, Payek seems to be right.
But to be honest, for this very, very raw overview these two types should be sufficient.
On the other hand, if the other types are offered, they should be available; not only in the admin statistics.
So the best is to create a bug report.
Best regards
Joffm

That's actually rather wrong, because due to this bug I won't be able to use LimeSurvey (would be nice if you didn't assume things about other people's usage), thanks to everyone who helped out anyway.Joffm wrote: Yes, Payek seems to be right.

Then you get the code and can look/update/improve/fix it …

An even worse post now... Free, yes it is, that's why the first thing I did in the topic was thanking whoever worked on it.
Get the code and look at how to fix it... Yeah, if you are a php coder, which I'm not entirely (at least not good enough to do so). Not exactly sure what you're trying to point there, but I'd ask the topic to be locked, as it seems to attract unnecessary and unrelated comments.
