Assessment in subquestion was created by mel47
Hi,
How do we enable this relevance box in subquestions? As shown here : manual.limesurvey.org/Adding_answers_or_subquestions
I can't find this setting "Enable Assessment mode".
In fact, I think it's what I need. I want to display only subquestions which were answered "Y" in the precedent question (array y/n). Or hide those answered N, whatever is easier.
Thanks
Melanie
PS I used the last Version 2.50+ Build 160620

You create an array question or any other question that has subquestions (e.g. multiple answers) and then click on this arrow symbol.

Thanks.
Maybe it's obvious but where is this arrow?

From you explanation I believe you need to use relevance equation.

Example
Q1 Yes/No
Q2 relevance equation would be
Q1.NAOK=="Yes"

That way it will display if Q1 answer is yes.

Hope this is explained properly.

Updated manual, adding screenshot. It's more clear ?

If you look at the link that you are providing at the beginning, there are little arrows in front of the "relevance" box.

However, looking at your screenshot I assume that you are using a question type that doesn't have "subquestions", but as your screenshot is in french, I can't tell. What question type do you use here (subquestion relevance should work with array questions and multiple response questions, not sure if there are any others).

If you need to use a single choice question where there is no subquestion relevance (as you don't have subquestions, but answer options) you could think about using a multiple response question type instead of the yes/no array. Then you could use the array filter option.

You're right, I think I'm looking for something that doesn't exist. To be clear, with the good terminology this time:

Q1: array (11 subquestions): Y/N
Q2: Rank.

What I want is, in Q2, display answers who were answered Y in Q1.
How I could achieve that?

Melanie
PS Thanks, I found the "enable assessment", but I mess up with relevance (what I need).

Found a workaround. Changed the array question Y/N by a multiple choice do the job by using Array Filter.
Thanks.
