Could I use LimeSurvey to make an online bookings form for our school? I have some current experience with it. I need a survey where timeslots are available for an interview with a teacher. Once that time is chosen, it's not available to the next user. I did something like this with quotas once but before I revisit that, I want to ask generally if this will work in LS.

I don't think you'll be able to do it without some extra coding. Quotas won't work because they terminate the survey so you'll need to make an AJAX call to a remote script that queries the database for previous submissions. Then there is a risk that more than one respondent take the survey at the same time, picking the same timeslot.

Tony : quota allow Previous if you set "Terminate survey with warning".

Then it's not the best, but user can go back to the survey, choose another time and try again.
