Auto generate token was created by rodbro10
Hey,

Hope someone can help me, I,m using the lastest version of LS.

I need to do this:

When a user click on my survey link, I need LS to make a uniq token for this answer.
Then when the user sent in the survey, I need LS to auto direct to www.mysite.dk/id={token }

I have maded the survey:
survey.ansvar.dk/index.php/survey/index/...59/newtest/Y/lang/da

I use:
Allow multiple responses or update responses with one token? YES
Enable token-based response persistence? YES
Allow public registration? NO
Use HTML format for token emails? NO
Send confirmation emails? NO

But when I set auto redirect to: www.dsv14.dk/results?token={TOKEN }

But when I do the server.... LS sent me to www.dsv14.dk/results?token=

So the token is not inserted....

Can I do this in anyway?

Hope someone can help!

If I understood right, you are mixing up what the tokens are. A token is a code given to the respondent to be able to access the survey. Now from what I can see, you don't have actually a token created. If there is no token created by you, there is no way LS can send this token (which is not created) anywhere. Seems more like you want to use the individual ID of each response, right?

I guess what you are looking for is this here:
manual.limesurvey.org/URL_fields/en

I think the savedid is what you are looking for. It is an ID created automatically for each response.

And you can pass it on via the end url.

Hello,

Thank you so much for your answers, I really appreciate it!

It is just what I needed with the RespondID, and it will work for me.

I just hoped that there was a way, where there was a RespondID and a token generated automatic, so that the link will be more uniq.

Now it would be www.dsv14.dk&token=1, so it would be pretty simple to see others survey, when you ex try token=2 etc....

So I was just hoping that we could us a uniq token on 5 digitals or so...

Do you know if thats possible?

Again.. Thank you!

Kenneth

Well, it depends on how you recruit respondents.

But I am sure there are options.

You could for example start your survey from a custom script that will generate the link plus a code that will passed on to limesurvey. You can write this into a hidden text question for example and later pass it to your custom script at the end via the end URL. If I remember right, there is also an option for panels where their respondentIDs will be passed through the survey.

Or, if you can give individual links to every respondent, you can create your own list of tokens and import them via CSV. Have a look at the manual, there is a description on how to do that and how to create the link.
