Q1 is Numeric input question and Q2 is a hidden Multi question with three answers options a)Young b)Adult and c)Old.

My job is to :

Punch Young in Q2 if age entered in Q1 Numeric input is 10 to 18
Punch Adult in Q2 if age entered in Q1 Numeric input is 18 to 60
Punch Old in Q2 if age entered in Q1 Numeric input is 61 to 99

Can I do this in Lime Survey?

You will need to use JavaScript to click the hidden question.

Are both questions on the same page?

Why use a multiple-options for Q2? Wouldn't a select-radio be more appropriate?

Cheers,

Why not use an equation question type when it is hidden anyway? That way you can enter an expression to give you the right value for q2.

Possibly for statistics?
