Is it possible to hanve an attribute with more than 255 chars?

Unfortunately, I don't think so because the database fields for the attributes are varchar(255).

Ok, so with some imagination I got a solution, just I've put 2 attributes together, 255+255. Not the best solution but efficient...

My problem is the other way round. Where and how can I shorten attributes? I do not need 255 characters, but more attributes. www.limesurvey.org/forum/design-issues/1...b-instead-of-varchar
