Hi,
I am new to Limesurvey. I want to create a visual analogue scale, so basically just a 10 cm line with a slider. However, I cannot find this option in the question types, though I know it is possible. I don't have any experience in programming. Can somebody help me out?
Cheers
Dennis

Use multiple numerical input question type... and set the
slider options
(in the advanced settings of the question)

Actually, I have another question?
How can I give a name to the left and right end?
(name) _____________________X_______________________(name)
Is it also possible to insert a 9 point numeric scale with names on the end points?
very negative (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) ( (9) very positive
Thanks ...

There is an option to allow for a pipe character to split.

When I use a matrix then I can name each end by doing this: name 1 | name 2
--> name 1 (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) name 2
However, when I want to have a slider with two names on each side like this:
(name) _____________________X_______________________(name)
It does not work, when I use the |
How do I need w to it then? Happy for help

Have a look further down in the slider specific attributes:
"Slider left/right text separator"
If you haven't defined anything there, Limesurvey will not know what the "|" means.
