Hi,

m running Version 2.00+ Build 121117 and I had a littlie question.

I noticed it was possible to insert user answers within the confirmation email users do receive after the survey. It is even pretty simple.

I wondered myself if it was possible to have that confirmation message different according answers.

Somtething like if answer A = "blah" then message = "some text" else message = "other text"

I had a try with javascript but, dumb I am, code needs a browser to be triggered. Of course a mail client cannot do this. On the other hand I see the script in the mail code source : Useless.

Thank you in advance

You can use the Expression Manager and the related syntax to created dynamic emailn texts based on the user's answers.

So if there is a gender question with code "q11", you can have a dynamic greeting by using:

{if(q11 == "F", "Dear Madame",if(q11 == "M", "Dear Sir", "Hello participant"))}

So depending on the users answer, it will show a female or male or otherwise neutral greeting message.
