I would like to know if it is possible to display a different message (i.e. "Please click this link to go to the survey") instead of the survey URL. In other words, is it posible insert a hyperlink (a picture or a word) and link it to the keyword {SURVEYURL}

Thanks in advance

2 solution:
- Use %%SURVEYURL%% : replaced by the link and only the link (then hae to put < a href="%%SURVEYURL%%" ...
- Do your own job with {TOKEN}, the link are allways
http://example.org/index.php/survey/index/sid/{SID}/token/{TOKEN}/newtest/Y

What did you try ?

<a href="%%SURVEYURL%%">Please click this link to go to the survey</a>
in LimeSurvey WITHOUT HTML editor.

Yes, this is what I tried, but then limesurvey will not replace the word SURVEYURL with the actual survey URL. Only if you use the {} = {SURVEYURL}, limesurvey will recognize it as replacement field and replace {SURVEYURL} with the according link.

the problem with

<a href="{SURVEYURL}">Please click this link to go to the survey</a>

is that {SURVEYURL} seems to generate a "<a href=" hyperlink already so, it doesn't work.

The only working solution I found is to use the actual link and just replace the token id with {token}.

Then it works but if one also replaces the SID with {SID}, it doesn't work.

Using {SURVEYURL} or a replacement for the URL to the survey would still be nice.

HEUREKA!!!

It needs to be @@SURVEYURL@@ and not with %. Then it works fine.

See this link to the doc for all placeholders you can use in emails...
