Hello

First sorry for my english, i'm french.

I'm a newbie in using Limesurvey, and i'm not sure it fits with my needs.
I'd like to make multiple question forms for my students. All limsurvey features answer to what i need, but it seems to be only designed for survey. It seems impossible to tell Limesurvey which answer is good or bad, and to have a kind of score in the end.

I'd like the following possibilities:

- About multiple-choice question, have good and wrong answers
- If the answer is wrong, have a correction with the good one
- When the survey is finished, have a global score (for example, 85%)

Then i don't uderstand how user groups work. when i go to limesurvey page on my server, I thougt it would be possible to have a loggin interface for users, then they would be able to access all surveys and make then when they want, as much as they want.
But it seems to work only with invitation codes.

I'm not sure to be completly understood, but thank you to read me.

Hi Olivier,

As Limesurvey is a survey software, this is what it does best. Other things might be achievable, but usually require some workarounds. Just like you can create tables in Word, but if you want more, Excel might be the better solution.

Limesurvey is not designed for quizes (highlighting corrent or wrong answers).

You might be able to find a work around with conditions and/or the Expression Manager for this, but I don't have a finalized solution for this.

Regarding the scores, you might want to have a look at assessments, where you can apply a score to an answer.

I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member. I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time. No support via private message.

Hello,

You can use ExpressionManager for multi question quizz.

For example:
Q1
- The answer with 3 point (code: 3P)
- The answer with 1 point (code: 1P)
- The answer with 0 point (code: 0P1)
- The answer with 0 point (code: 0P2)

Q2
- The answer with 3 point (code: 3P)
- The answer with 1 point (code: 1P)
- The answer with 0 point (code: 0P1)
- The answer with 0 point (code: 0P2)

Have the sum in a question text or at the end of the survey (can use équation question type to have answer in result db):
Your score was : {sum(if(Q1_3P=="Y",3,0),if(Q1_1P=="Y",1,0),if(Q2_3P=="Y",3,0),if(Q2_1P=="Y",1,0))}

With assesment, you can easily have a quiz for single choice question.

With Expression Manager, you can do "what you want' ;).
