Turning off email

I'm testing limesurvey on a local machine with no email (or even internet access, completely self-contained webserver). How do I turn off email for public registration of a survey? Right now, I stop when I fill out the registration form with the capcha, it says "email error", i just want it to continue while I'm testing and demoing.

When having public registration enabled you MUSt eb able to send emails because otherwise the login information (token + URL) will never be received by the user. There is no way to work around it I guess.
Best solution might be to disable public registration during testing.

How about if I just want a no-login anonymous survey, here's a link, fill out the form, I don't care if you take it multiple times? That's what I want for testing, I'm frequently getting blocked out of my own survey because of expired or used tokens, when I don't even want them during testing.

I must be missing a configuration setting, since I just want an anonymous, registration-free, public survey. Yes, I know the data will be bad, as even bots could fill it out, but very nice for demos and testing.

Removing the token table will make the survey open and accessable to all.:
