1. If you mean attach PDFs to email the answer is "no".

2. This might be possible by using the Expression Manager at version 1.92. I saw a thread about this at the forum where implementing this was discussed. Please search the forum.

Version 2.0 is not released yet.

Version 1.92 includes the Expression Manager. All versions below don't.

Let's step back to your original questions, as I'm not sure I know exactly what you want:

Do you want to have conditional logic to decide whether to ask File Upload questions based upon multiple choice answers? If so, you can do that in 1.91 (using conditions), or in 1.92 and beyond (using either conditions or relevance).

If you are asking about attaching pdfs to emails, that is another matter.

Do you want to send more than one thank you email, or tailor the content of the email?

If you want to tailor an email, you can use Expression Manager to do quite complex tailoring. You can do basic tailoring in 1.91

If you want to send multiple emails, that is not possible in 1.91 or 1.92 at the moment. However, we've talked about adding an email() function to 1.92 that would let you conditionally send emails. This would not be hard to add, but we haven't done this yet.

So, can you clarify your goals?

Are are the PDFs tailored to the user? If not, could you simply post the PDFs on a website and send thank you emails to the users with a link the appropriate PDF?

If the latter, you may be able to do this in 1.91+. You would have to tailor the confirmation email that gets sen to the user when they are done with the survey to provide the correct link. Someone else may need to help you with the details.

In 1.92, you can create an Equation question type that stores the URL for the desired PDF link (using if(test,do_if_true,do_if_false) syntax), then insert a reference to that value in the confirmation email like "Please read this <a href="{PDF_URL}">additional information</a>"

Hi

Can i have a feature where email notifications can be sent to different people depending where they live and who they choose

For instance

i live in NJ
then person A(email) from NJ will get a copy of details, email will also be CC to person B

and

if i pick option A from a mutiple answer choice
i will get pdf A or a link to pdf A

Can this be done?

Yep. In the Email Templates click on the 'lime' or 'source' buttons in the WYSIWYG.

TMS White, By chance is there any progress with implementing conditional emails?

...However, we've talked about adding an email() function to 1.92 that would let you conditionally send emails.

Or any suggestions by anyone other than Javascript to accomplish the same function. Racking my brain working with EM, Conditionals, Relevance, etc.
