Staging and production enviroment

Hi! I've developed my first survey with LS, and now I would move from the staging enviroment to the production one, before starting the survey. The production will be on another server, and I don't have any installation of Limesurvey there.

What's the best way to do this?

A new installation of Limesurvey on the production server and then export/import of the survey?

Make a backup of the entire database on stage, then run the script on the production mysql database (empty db) and also make a copy of the directory in which there are all php files?

Thank you for your work...

If you only have that one survey you can set up a fresh Limesurvey version on the other server and then export/import that survey.

If there are several surveys it's better to port the whole database and point the new system to it.
