Autofill in a question based on another question's answer

Just wondering what javascript or process I need to use to do the following.

In general how do I say If the answer to question 1 is a certain value, set the answer to question 2 to a certain value?

What I am actually doing in the survey is I have a radio button question for question 1 and based on that answer I am hiding question 2 (language choice) but need for it to put a value in for question 2 based on what they respond to for question 1. I don't want them to do the language selection themselves, it needs to be done for them based on what region they say they are from in question 1.

Thanks!

I think this can best be done by using some customized Javascript.

bwoo5, can you attach a sample group or survey with your questions?
