Is it possible to embed Limesurvey in an email so that users don't have to click a link and take survey, but instead do it right in the email?

google survey has this function.

Well, I doubt that Google Docs (I guess that is what you mean with Google Surveys) offers a full flegged survey within an email, because an Email can only contain HTML. This would allow to include a form, but not the rest of the serverside and clientside functionallities that a tool like Limesurvey offers. Then you can send the content of the form to a server. I guess that is what Google offers.

To make it short: I don't think that it is possible to include a Limesurvey survey in an email.

I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member. I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time. No support via private message.

Limesurvey can't do that and I doubt that other software can do that at all because technically you need a webserver to store the data. You can't do that by email.
