TOPIC: Is is possible to disable Cookie based survey?

Is is possible to disable Cookie based survey? 5 years 5 months ago #58659

Hi, I´m a brazilian developer.

Let me explain my problem first.
The online survey I´m doing will eventually be filled by different users at the same computer.
What I need is that if a user stops at the middle of the test, any other firefox tab that try to open the survey url will direct it to the starting token page.

I understand that by disabling save, this will happen, but can I mantain page save enabled, without the session managed by cookie? I know that a session can be managed by link rewrite, does limesurvey supports this, keeping page survey save enabled?

To my knowledge this problem can't be solved.

Hi, thanks for trying, but actually I managed to have a solution that solves my problem.
The trick is to disable de "allows saves" option and enable the "token-based response persistence".

This way different people can use the same computer, using different tokens, and still continue from where they stopped.

Great ! I'm sure it's not working .... It's work with IE ?

Can you contribute to our online documentation, maybe in this part: docs.limesurvey.org/Creating+a+new+surve..._amp_data_management
