I am completely new with limesurvey and just getting into it! For my master thesis I will do an online questionnaire regarding stereotypes. My question: When using the regular, free version of lime survey (CE), will the questionnaire also be available and especially answerable on mobile devices (smartphones / tablets etc.) or only on laptops (and there: on different forms of browsers)?

There is no difference in display capabilities between LimeSurvey CE and Pro. CE is selfhosted.

The themes shipped with LimeSurvey contain responsive design to adapt to different devices.
You still need to optimizes your survey design (choosing the right question types) to make it easy to answer questions on small devices.

Maybe the Limesurvey team could add such a note at the appropriate web pages. Because I am also answering that question quite often.
