Divide very long survey was created by Marksom
Hello Limesurvey team.

I used limesurvey a few years ago and it always came in handy. However, a survey has taken me to sleep and I do not know if this survey is possible:

I can hardly meet the database limit (+ - 1000 columns or 65kb for MyIsam db)

Is there any possibility of one study being merged with another? More than that, is it possible for each record to be inserted more than one record in another part of the search and then merged during the export?

I'm using Limesurvey V2.06 with intermediate knowledge in php, javascript and mysql.

Thanks in advance for your help.

yes, you can merge two surveys. You can use the end URL feature to pass the SAVEDID to the next survey and save it in a hidden text question. then later you can join the data tables via this SAVEDID. I am not sure if version 2.06 (which is pretty old and you should really think about upgrading) has the panel integration feature already, which makes it easy to store a variable (in this case the SAVEDID) into a hidden question.

More than that, is it possible for each record to be inserted more than one record in another part of the search and then merged during the export?

Not 100% sure what you are trying to say with that. Can you give an example?

Thank you Holch. I have not yet been able to test, I'm starting the implementation phase. But I'll let you know when I can.

I already split a survey in 4 parts.

I use token but it work with SID in 2.6 and before.

I update a little with javascript the navigator buttons to add previous moving to previous survey at 1st group of each survey and replace submit by next at end of each survey.

Take some times, but not so complicated.

That's what I'm doing Denis: javascript on buttons and token as parameter.

My survey will have 3 parts.

But I am suspicious that the lastpage column in Limesurvey will not let me return to the last page of the previous survey. I believe he will play to the first page by being complete submit.

Skip the english :)

You can activate index and hide it to be sure. With token and "allow update of answer" : i think it must work.

Hi,
as I understand looking at your images, you try to have a "mother"-survey with 1-n "child"-surveys.

There is a post about something like this

Best regards
