Hi all,

I have received an interesting question about our implementation of LimeSurvey.

In our organization, users have many different usernames - we use the LDAP authentication plugin but users do tend to enter the wrong username in the "username" field.

The question was if it would be possible to pre-fill the username field on the login page with a dummy username (for example "youremail@ourdomain.com") so the user knows to use his email address and not another username they have...
That dummy username would then be removed once the user clicks in the username field to start typing...

Anybody have any ideas if this is feasible? I checked the "login.php" page but couldn't figure out how or where to do something similar...

Thanks in advance!
