import participant from external email and other datas was created by tboy
Hello,
I would like to allow our customers to compile a standard survey already prepared.
This is what I would like to obtain:
the customer receives an email-invitation from a different source (our Erp) - so, no legacy at all with Limesurvey..
That email would contain
a) the url of my limersurvey' server and relative survey's ID (i.e http://mylimesurveyaddress/index.php/123456?lang=it )
b) a serial number (related to a specific support case)...
I would like to "import" the serial number in a specific/customized field of Limesurvey and the relative email address of the customer who received the email-invitation
Is there a way to pass datas to Limesurvey (email address of the customers , which should become a "participant" , and serial number)?
If my Erp send an email-invitation like this, or something "similar" : http://mylimesurveyaddress/index.php/123456?test@me.com?lang=it
where
123456 is the ID
test@me.com is the email address of the customers
there is a chance that works ?
Thanks a lot!
Thomas

See here for info on how to pre-fill survey elements -

Alternatively, you can use the RemoteControl 2 API to create tokens. Related post - www.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-this-w...s-to-a-survey#149782

Thank you very much...
I'm trying to pre-fill survey via external URL as you suggested..
Unless I use a "simple" text label , I'm able to pass something to the survey..
like
http://myserver/limesurvey//index.php/survey/index/sid/648749?Q1=test
but I can't pre-fill a multiple short text question in which I need to compile SQ001 and SQ002 (take a look on the attachment).
If I use something like
http://myserver/limesurvey//index.php/survey/index/sid/648749?648749X1X1SQ001=test&SQ002=blah
or
http://myserver/limesurvey//index.php/survey/index/sid/648749?T1Q1SQ001=test&SQ002=blah
(following the suggestions and examples from manual.limesurvey.org/URL_fields#Prefill...using_GET_parameters )
nothing happens.
Afetr that, is it possibile to inhibit the possibility to modify SQ001 and SQ002 ?
Thank you again...

Judging by the attached screenshot, this should work:
Code:
http:/myserver/limesurvey/index.php/survey/index/sid/648749?648749X79X275SQ001=test&648749X79X275SQ002=blah
