Hi

I have the following problem. Three questions, all multiple choice (Q9, Q10, Q11), same subquestions and codes and an array (Q12). I need to filter the first choice the respondent make in Q9 to the place in the array(Q12) marked in red, the first answer in Q10 to the place in the array(Q12) marked with green. The same applies to the answer in Q11.
The general array filter is of no help here. To construct the array(Q12) is no problem but the filtering of the answers from Q9, Q10 & Q11 is. Any suggestions?

This is the brief I have:
AUTOCOMPLETE BRANDS FROM Q9, Q10 AND Q11 ABOVE. PRIORITISE Q11 FIRST, Q10 SECOND, Q9 THIRD TO SELECT ADDITIONAL BRANDS (MAX TWO OTHER BRANDS). ALWAYS SHOW XXXX BRAND. SINGLE MENTION PER BRAND

Attached is an image of how my array should work.

Perhaps you need to explain your issue in another way?

I need to filter the first choice the respondent make in Q9 to the place in the array(Q12) marked in red

E.g. what is the first choice in Q9? You state that Q9 is a multiple-choice question. So what is the first choice?

So you might just attach your survey with the questions and state what version of LimeSurvey you're using.
That might help to get some answers here.

In my opinion, there is no way to determine "the first choice " in a multiple choice. Respondents can select and de-select items at will.
