Importing values from extern sources was created by L_L
Situation:
I am writing a greeting text and have the greeting "Dear Participant".
Now I want to personalize this greeting and write "Dear {nameOfParticipant}" instead, e.g. "Dear Max".
Question:
I would usually import this with $_GET, but I don't know how to do it in this case, as i don't have a unique identifier for this....
It would be great if any of you can help me here.

Hi L_L,
what version/build of LS are you using?
Are you using tokens?

Where would the name come from then? How do you know that Max is at the keyboard?

2 solution (if you need it via GET)
1. Use token : token value are in GET and {nameOfParticipant} are {TOKEN:FIRSTNAME}
2. Prefilling with URL : For example
- 1st question are name , short text question type , hidden
- 2nd question are Text display question with "Welcome {name} ...."
- Set show welcome to false

Max receives an email where he clicks on a link that leads to the survey.
Through this email I can import the values to limesurvey usually.
I did it before with name, etc, but there i imported the values into an answer field, which has an unique identifier..
