linked question groups or separate surveys?!?? was created by AnDA0
Hi there,
I would like to link 6 question groups with each other, in the following way:
When question group 1 was completed by a particular number of people (say 20), then I want the 21st person who starts the survey to automatically only see question group 2. When question group 2 was completed by another 20 people, then I want the 41st person who starts the survey to automatically only see question group 3 etc. ...
Is that possible??
This way, I would like to avoid conducting 6 separate surveys...also to avoid 1 person completing multiple question groups.
I'd appreciate any kind of help!
Thanks in advance!

There is no way to automatically do this without complex AJAX calls, etc. (when taking a survey, there is no direct access to previous data).
It's probably easier to monitor the data yourself and change the group relevance as you get the required number of responses.

Thanks a lot, tpartner. I expected it to be too difficult.
Any chance you can explain the relevance system a bit? So is it possible to show certain question groups and not others ?!
And also:
Is it possible to then change the setting WHILE the survey is ACTIVE??

Yes, you can place relevance on groups. So, if you want to hide a group, you would put in a relevance statement that always returns false. Something like:So is it possible to show certain question groups and not others ?
Code:
1 == 2
Yes, you can change relevance while the survey is activated.Is it possible to then change the setting WHILE the survey is ACTIVE?
