I have a question asking interviewees to choose 1 out of 4 topics. The next question says: Of the three that you did not choose as your favorite, which one do you like better? Is it possible to pull the chosen answer into the next question?

Hi, yes, it's possible. You may use Expressions. Look at this part in the maual: manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager#Access_to_Variables

In addition to Elisas answer which refers to piping, you could also use the array filter exclusion feature.

Because from what I understand you have two questions:

1. Allows to choose one from 4 answers
2. Allows to choose one from the 3 answers not chosen in question 1.

For this, array filter exclusion works perfect.
