I just started learning LimeSurvey and it goes very smooth. Thanks for your amazing software!

Now I'm trying to make a nice invitation email using HTML, and I'm almost done.




I do have some problems with the placeholders. The placeholder for the surveyname isn't working. I already tried
{SURVEYNAME}, '{SURVEYNAME}' and @@SURVEYNAME@@.
They al are not working.

Could somebody please help me out on this one?

Hi Laurent,

You should be able to select SURVEYNAME ("Name of the survey") from available replacement fields by clicking the "lime" icon (top left on the html editor toolbar). Just entering the text "{SURVEYNAME}" won't do it.

@Frank: It should work, typing {SURVEYNAME}, shoudn't it? I never work in WYSIWYG-mode, as it can sometimes break the EM-code, so I always use plain text without the WYSIWYG-editor.

Laurent, do the other playceholders work (looks like it because the URL looks EM-generated)? Could be that you accidently put a { or } somewhere in the code that breaks the SURVEYNAME-placeholder.

Laurent: what LimeSurvey version + build number are you using? And can you upload a survey structure file (.lss)?

You have the "validate email" link : what did you have when you click on it ?
