I'm perfectly noob about LimeSurvey. Hope so, I can explain myself and get your helps. Last year my company created some Surveys (normally) and this year they will repeat it again. But this year they wanna change somethings.

Now i have around 40 groups and every group has almost 3 questions. We will create may be 20 different Stations and every station has a computer. I need to assign, for example "Group 1 and 2" "Station-1-Computer".

What do i need here :

1- I need to assign Group 1 and 2 URL's with Station-1-Computer. Is that possible if yes How ?

2- After answering the questions, this Surveys shall start again. Is that also possible if yes How ?

if i could not explain myself correctly please say to me and i can try it again.

1) You can prefill a hidden question via the survey URL and then use the value of that question for group or question relevance .

2) Use " Automatically load URL when survey complete " to redirect back to the survey on completion.

@Joffm : and Group 3 and Group 4 to Station-2? etc. => exactly but yesterday i asked my chef and said to me : For everygroup we will use 1 Computer. Thats mean Group 1 = Station 1 Computer, Group 2 = Station 2 Computer etc.

And can you please little bit open what do you mean about Micro-Tailoring.

I have another question.

Now this is my limesurvey link. It assigned automatically :

" .../index.php?r=survey/index&sid=158490&lang=en "

now i need something. I tried but could not find a solution.

.../index.php?r=survey/index&sid=158490&lang=en&ex=10 => this &ex=10 symbolize question 10. And i wrote end URL

.../index.php?r=survey/index&sid=158490&lang=en&ex=5 => after i answer question 10, going to go to the Question 5

Now my question : How can i do RANDOM question : Actually it is not random. For this Example, it will start every time Question 10. When i answered it, again starts Q10

.../index.php?r=survey/index&sid=158490&lang=en&ex=12

that means, This time Question 12 shall start.

I tried different ways to write URL but every time started at the beginning.

do you also gimme an Ideas. Because I'm stuck. Or shall i programming ?

As far as I know, you cannot use the URL to direct to a specific question or group. You can use it to populate a hidden question that can then be used in relevance rules to hide/show questions or groups.

i do not want to create new Topic, but need to ask this question.

As a localhost I'm using XAMMP (Apache & MySQL) and finished my own survey. Now i created new network and need to use my this survey

My questions :

1- Shall i use again XAMMP also for my other network. If yes shall i change the configurations on XAMMP ??

2- How can i arrange URL not localhost but my own URL IP or Name ? Shall i write a Java Script code again ?

1) Do not use XAMPP as a production server. It is designed for development only and may contain security risks.

2) You will need a server accessible to the public, not your development computer. Get a shared hosting account somewhere or use the LimeSurvey hosted option - www.limesurvey.org/editions-and-prices/l...-prices-professional
