Hello,

I m first in limesurvey.
I would know if this is possible and what are the features to do it:
  • About 100 users and 40 groups of users
  • About 400 products to survey
  1. 1 user connects with password
  2. depends on the group, he can see a list of products to answer
  3. In the product survey clicked, 1 or many pictures are showed and description are depending on the product
  4. Questions are depending on the group of the user

Can i generate a survey (product description linked to database?) with python text scripted? and import it?

Thank you for your answers

You can use a tokenbased survey. You create a list of tokens. One token per user.
For every token you can add attributes (e.g. group). These attributes can be access in the survey and used for conditions (e.g. show this picture if respondent is in that group).

You might create a spreadsheet file , which you can import in LimeSurvey as a survey.
There are some limits. You can read more about this approach here:

Tks for your reply

Once, the user is connected, can he see the list of groups (he is allowed to see)?
So by group i mean the list of "products".

Maybe labels sets?

Many thanks, LS is impressive

You can use relevance equations and conditions to show/hide questions (single question, group of questions, subquestions) depending on user-defined attributes which are part of your survey participants list (where you define the tokens).

Which question type you chooose to display the list of products is depending on the questions you're asking. You may just use a textdisplay question to just display text and pictures. You may use a multiplechoice questions where you can use Labelsets. But Labelsets are just a way to save time typing the items again when adding a new question. They are not real lists (dynamic and static) like in other survey packages.

So just focus on the questionstypes first and try out a few of them to find the ones suitable for your task. After that learn relevance equations and conditions to show/hide questions based on answers of other questions. Last step would be to learn about tokens attributes and how to use them in conditions and relevance equations.

OK, thanks.

So i think i found what i want:
One first question where user select the product in the radio button list and then an other group of question follow the fist.
My last question is:
How to filter this radio list button with the user/token ?
the cascade array filter is a subquestion, not the radio list button

Thks

What is meant by "Cascade array filter is a subquestion". A array filter is not a subquestion.

Sometimes you need to create copy of questions and display/hide them depending on the user-defined attributes in the tokenlist. Depending on your LS version/build you can use subquestion relevance on certain questiontypes (List Single Choice Radio is NOT one of them).

You might attach a survey example.
