Can I integrate Limesurvey into mobile apps?

I need to integrate a survey tool into a mobile app (Android). First I looked into Qualtrics, but they are quite expensive so I was wondering if I can integrate Limesurvey into an App and how difficult this is?
Also is there a big difference between Qualtrics and LS?
Thanks!

For qualtrics major difference : it is not possible to trust qualtrics since we can not study the code ...

You need to explain what the integration looks like.JoeRFLabs wrote: I need to integrate a survey tool into a mobile app (Android).
You should check for yourself. Only you know what features you're looking for. The big difference is that LimeSurvey can be installed byyourself. Featureswise you will find a lot of differences.JoeRFLabs wrote: Also is there a big difference between Qualtrics and LS?

How does that differ for a SaaS user using LimeSurvey Pro? How can I check the running phpcode there?DenisChenu wrote: For qualtrics major difference : it is not possible to trust qualtrics since we can not study the code ...

Two more question I have here:
1. Can all the functionality (create surveys, get results, statistics, etc.) be easily API called and embedded into another environment (e.g. admin dashboard website)?
2. Regarding the license: When we customize the Limesurvey code (integration into our own admin dashboard, changing designs, make it offline available for users), are we required to make all of the changes open source as well? (Happy to contribute to the open source community, just to clarify)
Really appreciate your advices!

Are you the one to develop? Or do you let other people code?JoeRFLabs wrote: Thanks a lot for the replies! We're looking to integrate it into a rewards app and just figuring out the best options (especially UX-wise).
"Integrate into a reward app" will not make clear what kind of integration is wanted.
The Remote API capabilities can be seen here:

Regarding source code change you can modify your own installations in private.
The license of LimeSurvey can be seen in the installations files.
Currently it's: www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.en.html

No, a dev team will develop the app for us. We would like to integrate it so that users can choose different surveys from a list (they get rewarded for after completion) and it should be possible to either complete them offline or online. It is one feature of the app besides others (videos, shop, etc.). I'm not totally clear which options for integration exist for this use case.

That's great, thanks.

You should discuss the indented feature-set with the development team and let them take a look at the source code of LimeSurvey.JoeRFLabs wrote: No, a dev team will develop the app for us.
