Master Slave Design was created by emwinkler
I have created a study in which the participants are supposed to be randomly assigned one of 5 questionnaires. Since the questionnaires are very long, I created a "master" questionnaire that randomly shows the participant one of 5 consent forms. In the forms there is a link embedded that participants are supposed to click when they consent, and it leads to one of the 5 "slave" questionnaires in a randomized fashion. It states to "click here" if the person consents.

The problem is that there is also the "further" button on the bottom at the page. If the participant clicks that button instead of the link in the text, the master questionnaire ends automatically without linking to the slave questionnaires.

I have tried to edit font and color to make the link more obvious but I am still worried, that a number of participants will click the button at the end of the page instead of the link.

Is there a smart way around this problem? Maybe a different way to randomly link to the smaller questionnaires?

Hi,
in my opinion you shouldn't use an extra link.

You say the participants see a randomly displayed consent form.
So you should create the respective end url by an equation.
Let's say the question code of this equation is "myEndURL".
Here you create the url.

In the end url field in "Settings / Text Elements" you enter {myEndURL}
Then there is a clean exit of the "master" survey which links to the selected "slave" survey.
