Hide Timer was created by Rachelbock
I need a timer to be running in the background of part of my study and auto-advance. I do not want the participants to see the timer. I have tried following the advice here ( manual.limesurvey.org/QS:Time_limit_timer_style ) but it is not working. It seems to sometimes work and sometimes not even when I do not change the code. My software is updated.

Thanks-

Hi,
and what did you do following this advice

The default style value for this attribute will be used if it does not exist, which is: 'width: 150px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #111; text-align: center; background-color: #EEE; margin-bottom: 5px; font-size: 8pt;'.

Would have been useful if you had provided your survey (only the relevant question where you want to do this) by *.lss export.

I put that (including the display: none;) in the timer section under time limit timer CSS style. I've attached the question.
