1. I want to know how can I send an admin notification email on successful submission of a survey of a select group of participants. The survey participants may have a common attribute (e.g lastName or anything similar), while creation for distinction. Basically, I want to somehow restrict the email notifications for a select participant group.

2. Please, also suggest if I can have a dynamic admin email assigned to every participant to send email to, on survey submission. (participantEmail -> adminEmail mapping)

Please, help.

Both is possible.

1. You can access basically all responses plus the data in the token table via EM and you can use equations in the admin notification email field.

So, you could create an equation like:

{if(TOKEN:attribute_1=="Microsoft", "microsoft@tld.com","")}

You can also nest those ifs. But I guess, your second question will simplify this whole process.

Not tested, you'll need of couse to check what is right in your case.

2. Just include a custom attribute in your token table, that defines the email that should be used for sending the email to.

e.g. you could include this into the Admin Notification Email field, assuming that attribute 5 is the email the notification is supposed to be sent to:
{TOKEN:attribute_5}
Thank you @holch, This worked successfully for me. Just a side question if you can help: for the custom attributes that I create in the TOKEN table, the LS UI displays the same content in 'Edit survey participant' window's both 'General' and 'Additional attributes' tabs (i.e. I am unable to edit my created custom attribute values for the participant)
My LS Version: 3.0.1+171228

3.0.1+171228

This is the second release of this branch. So there might have been some issues.
First you should update to the actual one, which is 3.17.9.

You should see this

Like Joffm. Your installation is almost 2 years old and one of the first versions of this branch. There is a good chance for a couple of bugs in your version. There is no reason to report bugs or search for solutions if you are running such an old version of Limesurvey. If it is a bug, it might be long solved.

Yes, I guess it is due to my old version then, as I see the same window as 'General' tab in 'Additional attributes' tab too.
Thank You.
