Editing Registration Variables was created by teracomp
The register.pstpl contains the simple template that delivers variables:
{REGISTERERROR} {REGISTERMESSAGE1} {REGISTERMESSAGE2} {REGISTERFORM}
This is excellent design...I really appreciate generalizing the template in this manner. However, i can't find a place to simply edit these variables. It seems like these would be exposed on the "Edit survey text elements and settings" page, but I do not see them. It doesn't seem right to edit the php files directly.
Please show me where to edit the keyword variables for registration (in particular).

So the answer then is: there is no place to interact with Public Registration variables, correct?
The link provided directs me to update the translation file which will affect all surveys on my instance rather than adjusting the variables per survey.
I'm I reading this correctly?

Feel free to convice the developers of LimeSurvey that there is a need for individual messages.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I just thought this was a feature like the rest of the Survey Settings.
It seems to me that variable data should be editable through an interface, though I'm sure there are higher priorities for the LimeSurvey team.
