Correct Answer? was created by FrankyQuest
hi,
im wondering if there is a way how to show after clicking the button next, have a little delay and colour the correct answer maybe, or show just a popup saying "the correct answer is..." maybe with some javascript any help will be very appreciated.
or maybe saying in the theme option somewhere that every radio list questions with an answer with assestment of 3 is the correct answer
thanks in advance
Phil

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
Yes, you will need some Javascript to do that:
- Store in a variable which is the correct answer. (or mark the correct answer somehow, maybe a code)?
- on event "submit" of the limesurvey form:
+ Highlight the control related to the correct answer
+ Start a timeout count.
+ Submit upon the timeout.
+ You will need a flag to skip all the custom behaviour the second time you submit (the actual one).
Thanks!

Could you tell me please where I have to put this JavaScript code?
In the custom.js or in a twig file from the theme?
If you can be more specific I will really appreciate, or eventually if u have the code.
I'm sorry but Im short on time and I can't figure it out how can I do it, I read every post or any manual guide.
Ps: The correct answer is always the answer with code A3
And they are all radio list questions
Thanks

Hi,
You could put the code in custom.js.
I am sorry I don't have the code. I have never before done this specifically, so no code to copy and paste. Sorry.
I understand you are willing to read
But sorry, not sure what you can read.
Maybe you could take an example of a custom validation (I know there is some code for that in the workarounds) and tweak it?
Thanks
